FAQs

What is Forever Rosie?

Forever Rosie is a candle company created to produce high quality bespoke candles.

Where does the name come from?

The company is named after my family cat who sadly passed away in 2020. Just like the candles, she was unique.

How much does delivery cost?

All our prices include delivery fees.

What is Soy Wax and why is it used for candles?

Soy wax is a natural and renewable wax derived from soybean oil, typically produced through a process of hydrogenation. It is an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional paraffin wax, as soybeans are a sustainable and biodegradable resource. Soy wax burns cleaner and slower than paraffin wax, producing less soot and releasing fewer toxins into the air. Additionally, soy wax has a lower melting point, allowing candles to burn more evenly and distribute fragrance more effectively. It also has a natural creamy colour and can hold a high concentration of fragrance oils, making it a popular choice for scented candles. Overall, soy wax is valued for its eco-friendliness, clean-burning properties, and versatility in candle making.

What should I do when burning my candle for the first time?

When burning the candle for the first time it is essential to allow the candle to create a full melt pool. This is where the melted wax reaches the edges of the container. This helps to prevent tunnelling and encourages an even burn for subsequent uses.

Do you always have every item in stock?

At Forever Rosie we aim to have a small amount of stock at all times and continuously create more candles as they sell. However, if for any reason the item you have ordered is out of stock we will contact you to inform you of this and advise you on processing time to hand pour and send the scent which you have ordered.

Why does the surface of my candle look uneven after burning?

Due to the nature of soy wax the top may look uneven after burning, but this does not effect the candles quality. Drafts and airflow around the candle while it is burning may also cause it to burn unevenly.
